Yoga and Meditation Instructor

I started to practice Yoga in 2003 and fell immediately in love with it. Shortly after, I started meditating, and discovered the power both practices have to change our lives, open our hearts and minds and support us in reaching out for our dreams and living a life full of purpose. Yoga has the power to really change your life by bringing your body to a new level of health, not only physically, but our energy also improves noticeably. I see the smiles of people’s faces when they leave the class, they feel great about and in themselves. My wish is to benefit and help people so they can find even more space, peace, purpose, healing and joy in their own lives.

What makes your yoga class special/different? As one of my students framed it: “It’s an inexplicable feeling, of how much we get from your classes. The environment you create for us is incomparable; it's like a feeling of security and refuge from those [tough] days. At the same time; you encourage us to bring the best out of our bodies and perform things that we didn’t know we were capable of”

About Yoga

What is Yoga?

Hatha yoga or classical yoga has many different trends and approaches. However, whatever we come across is sure to have something in common: the relationship between breathing and movement.

In Hatha yoga, we practice the asanas, or poses, to the rhythm of breathing, thereby protecting the muscles and joints, keeping the asanas for at least 6-8 breathing cycles. In a class, the goal will always be to move the whole body, strengthen and stretch the spine, the shoulders. Flowing motion is combined with persistent/static poses.

Why Hatha Yoga?

Breathing exercises in Hatha yoga have a stress relieving effect, regular exercise increases lung capacity and helps remove toxins from the body.

By practicing yoga regularly, we will become more resilient and stronger. We become more conscious in our bodies and we become more conscious in our daily lives as well. The Heart opens and the soul returns home.

Yoga has the power to really change your life by bringing your body to a new level of health, not only physically, but our energy also improves noticeably.
